Zora Neale Hurston was a writer who grew up in Eatonville, Florida, one of the first all-Black towns in the United States. She collected stories from her community and turned them into books that are still read today. Her most famous book, Their Eyes Were Watching God, shares powerful stories about life, love, and identity. Zora helped preserve important voices and traditions from Florida.
